Arnis: Philippine Self Defense Class

Instructor: Brian Collins

Arnis is Philippine a Martial Art that works with your intuition, let it be the key to unlock the door to your self defensive mind....be ready to experience real martial arts applications and self defense methods! It's Arnis! It's Real!

This ongoing martial arts class is geared towards real time self defense instruction. Each week build upon your skill set and advance your self defensive abilities.

The Philippine Martial Arts have been featured in films like "The Book of Eli" with Denzel Washington, "The Bourne Identity" with Matt Damon and "The Hunted" with Tommy Lee Jones. The Arnis classes are taught by Master instructor Guro Brian Collins, the co owner of both Life in Synergy Fitness Studio and Synergistics Personal Training Studio. Guro Collins has been involved in the Martial Arts for the past 30 years and is the prodigy of Punong Guro Ken DeJesus.

He is proud to offer his services in the art of Arnis to those in search of true self defensive knowledge.

Beats and Grooves Yoga

The vibe is simultaneously challenging and chill with a soundtrack of Hip Hop, Brit Pop, R&B, Reggae, and Jazz. Newcomers are encouraged to discover what this “yoga thing” is all about, while "yoga heads" are invited to deepen their practice. Pilates Movement

This Pilates recipe calls for challenge and release cooked up over a total body workout, with a bunch of fun sprinkled on top. Beneficial nutrients can include: (healthy) burning sensations in the abdominals, arms, legs, muscles, etc.; increased energy; improved posture and flexibility; and, mind-body awareness.

We (safely) cook to nothing but trip-hop and hip-hop. All levels are encouraged and welcomed.
